Cous Cous and egg fritters!

  
 
For lunch I made some easy fritters! Here is the recipe for one fritter:

Ingredients:

1 Egg

1/4 Cup of Cous Cous

3/4 teaspoon of dried Oregano

Butter

Method:

Add 1/4 cup of boiling water to the Cous Cous and put a plate over the Cous Cous, set this aside. Whisk the egg in a bowl with a fork and add the Oregano. Add the Cous Cous and whisk until combined, set this aside. Put a decent amount of butter in a small frying pan, and heat until it bubbles, then add the egg and Cous Cous batter and cook on high heat until dark golden brown (see picture), flip over and cook for 1 more minute, then put on a plate and enjoy!

They should be tender with a little crunch on the inside!
