3D Printing (Impresión en 3D)

3-D printing involves a machine that takes a rod of plastic and makes an object.

La impresión 3D (tres dimensiones) implica una máquina que toma una barra de plástico y hace un objeto.

I design my models with AutoDesk apps – 123D and TinkerCad. You design the object and send it to the printer.

Yo diseño modelos con la aplicación AutoDesk 123D y con TinkerCad. Diseñas el objeto y lo envías la impresora.

The object is made by the printer ejecting plastic out of its nozzle. It moves along x,y and z axis.

El objeto es hecho por la impresora que expulsa plástico por una boquilla. La boquilla se mueve a lo largo del eje de los 3 ejes, x, y, z.

It prints layers, laying a thin string around the model each time.

Imprime capas, depositando cada vez una fina tira alrededor de modelo.

This continues until the process is complete.

Esto continúa hasta que el proceso está completo.

I have been designing buildings and spacecraft.
