Canterbury Museum – models and arthropods

We went to the museum today. I have been making model kits lately, so I thought it would be interesting to look again at the models in the museum.

And, of course, we also visited the tarantulas and looked in the arthropod drawers.

The Rangatira used to travel between Lyttelton and Wellington.

The museum has an Antarctica display, which includes some model planes and ships.

The Lindblad Explorer took cruises to Antarctica. It was renamed the MS Explorer and sank in 2007.
